He is survived by: his wife Sharon Stout; his children, Jeffrey Obernesser (Christina) and Lou Ann Obernesser Cates (Trampas); his grandson Michael Obernesser (Shannon); his siblings, Jane Obernesser, Albert Obernesser (Donna), James Obernesser (Mary Lou), Robert Obernesser (Susan), Eileen Jungbluth (John), Karen LaScala (Len), Lou Ann Obernesser and John Obernesser; his brother-in-law Greg Stout (Mary); and his caregiver Catie Ryczek. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Myslinski, Kowalczyk & Nunn Funeral Directors (470 French Rd, Utica, NY 13502).
