He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Andrew, Jr. and Frances Louis Joynt (Ashley); his son John Joynt; his sisters, Jennifer Tine and Maryanne Hutchins; and his significant other Jill D. Fletcher.
He is survived by: his children, Heidi, Jennifer (Anthony), Gregory and Jessie; his siblings, Debbie Jastremski, Janice Yolles, Helene Jacobson, Frank Jastremski and Daniel Joynt; his grandchildren, Alanna, Miah and Lillian; his great grandchild Beau; and his close friends, Carol, Kim and June. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Myslinski, Kowalczyk & Nunn Funeral Directors (470 French Rd, Utica, NY 13502). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Forest Hill Cemetery (2201 Oneida St, Utica, NY 13501).
