She is survived by: her husband James Steere; her children, James III, Betsy Steere, Gina and Michael Szczygiel; her grandchildren, Eric Steere, Sneha Chembayil, Emily, Jacob Gaito and Erica Szczygiel; her great grandchildren, Essa, Isra Chembayil-Steere and Eliana Gaito; and her brothers-in-law, Gerald Steere (Virginia), Charles "Chucky" Steere, Donald Steere, Alan Steere (Elaine), Richard Steere (Laura) and Kenny Steere (Cheryl). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony & St. Agnes Church (422 Tilden Ave, Utica, NY 13501).
