With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard K. Hefferon of Utica, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2026 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Richard departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Richard. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ted, Dolly Olander, John and Dorthy Hefferon; his parents, Judy Hefferon and Richard Hefferon; his uncle Peter Alexander; and his brother Kevin Hefferon.
He is survived by: his children, Dustin (Courtney), Kristopher (Heather) and Camryn (Haley); his brother Ted (Kim); his aunt Mary Lou; and his grandchild Talon-Taylor.
