Robert Panetta Obituary
We announce the death of Robert Panetta (Utica, New York), who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 93. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominick Panetta and Stella Panetta (Jerominek); his brothers, Joseph (Marie Panetta) and Martin (Martha Panetta); his in-laws, Anthony and Rita Scarafile; his sister Maryann; and his brother-in-law Gary Hajeris.
He is survived by: his wife Sina; his daughters, Cindy (Pete Koscinski) and Carolyn (DJ Carstensen); and his grandchildren, Courtney, Chris Ryer, Bryan, Kathleen Koscinski, Matthew Carstensen, Andrew Zanelli, Camryn Carstensen, Chad, Kait Carstensen, Klay, Gavin, Zachary, Blake, Vanessa, Layla, Carys and CJ. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish (648 Jay St, Utica, NY 13501).
