With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosemarie (Guarnieri) DeFazio (Utica, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2026 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vito Guarnieri and Lena Guarnieri (Dellerba); her siblings, Frank Guarnieri (Marie), Gloria Duniec (Ed) and Doris Curcio (Paul); her in-laws, Mary Sciortino (Anthony), Dominick DeFazio (Shirley), Frances Lawrie (Robert) and Joseph Mercurio; and her husband Frank "Hank" DeFazio.

She is survived by: her children, Maryann Bonomo and Frank A. II; her daughter-in-law Rena DeFazio (Ventura); her grandchildren, Melanie, Andrew Bonomo, Maya and Michael DeFazio; her great grandchildren, Jessie and Justine Dennis; her sister Joann Schuman; and her sister-in-law Jane Mercurio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
