The memory of Sara Joyce Williams of Utica, New York, who passed away on September 22, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her father Max Philipson; her husband John Gwynne Williams; and her sister Maxene Gurdo. She is survived by: her mother Irene Philipson; her sons, Christopher J. Williams of Whitesboro and Paul R. Williams of Utica; her grandchildren, Kristen Synakowski (Josh), Bethany Williams (Daniel Drennen), Katelyn Williams (John Scibior) and Brandon P. Williams; her great grandchildren, Reagan, Elias, Ella, Andrew, Julianna, Camille and Sienna; her granddaughters, Kathryn Williams and Michelle Crouse; and her siblings, Sylvia Kozyra (Walt), David Philipson (Lucille) and Cheryl Philipson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Grace Church (6 Elizabeth St, Utica, NY 13501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
