Sarah M. Filipkowski Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah M. Filipkowski (Utica, New York), born in Lakewood, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Osborne and Helen Osborne (Walo); her husband Joseph Filipkowski, Sr.; her son Joseph J. Filipkowski, Jr.; and her friend Felicia Caporale (Pacciarelli).
She is survived by: her son James "Jim"; her daughters-in-law, Erica Filipkowski and Yifan Yan; Loriann, Kimberly and Pasquale. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark's Church (440 Keyes Rd, Utica, NY 13502).
