He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard H. Hilton and Margaret Sweet Hilton; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Ertel Hilton; his children, Charles Wolanin, Samantha Braun (Steates), Margaret Naughter (Hilton) and Mia Hilton; his grandchildren, Maxwell and Lucille; his siblings, Catherine Beeman and Gary Hilton; and his nephew Rick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
