He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Luley and Eleanor Luley (Moylan); and his sister Mary Margaret Luley. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Palmieri of Mark's Catholic Church; his children, Theresa (Grant), Laura Smith (Brian), Mary Luley and Thomas Luley, Jr.; his grandchildren, Maggie Clester, Alex Clester, Kate Clester, Charlie Clester, Elle Smith and Mack Smith; his siblings, John Luley (Arlene), Bill Luley (Sue), Jim Luley (Frankie) and Ellen Luley; and his close friends, Tom, Chuck and Tina McNeil. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Myslinski, Kowalczyk & Nunn Funeral Directors (470 French Rd, Utica, NY 13502). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mother of Our Savior Parish.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Tom's name may be made to the Hope House (http://www.hopehouseutica.org) or a charity of one's choice.
