We are sad to announce that, on April 8, 2026, at the age of 79, William R. Nichols (Utica, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph J. Nichols and Leona Nichols (Kinney); his children, Jennifer Zimmer (Dennis) of Aberdeen, MD., Kristi Broadbent (Jamie) of Rome, NY, William Nichols, Jr. of Utica and Shawn Nichols (Miho) of Kentucky; and his wife Susan Nichols (Hall). He was also cherished by several grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many friends.
