He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret; his daughter Ellen; his close friend Kate Curry; his children, Marybeth Bentson, Walter Bentson (Mary), Karen Keane (Michael), Kristen Pecoraro (Michael), Kevin Bentson (JoEllen), Brian Bentson and Michael Bentson (Doreen); and his parents, Gabriel Bentson and Elizabeth Bentson. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, a nephew and five nieces.
