Sheldon Berkowitz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sheldon Berkowitz of Valley Cottage, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ginny (Greeley). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Michael, Grace Frizalone, Hayden, Dylan, Avery and Brennan Berkowitz; his children, Cathie Frizalone (Peter) of Stanwood, WA, Christine Marie Berkowitz-Gentile of Orangeburg, NY, Daniel Berkowitz (Tammie) of Destin, FL and James Berkowitz (Carolyn) of Cornwall, NY.; and his siblings, Barney Berkowitz (Dorothy) of Pembroke Pines, FL and Ethel Rogers of Merrick, NY. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shelly's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
