He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Silvia Irizarry and Louis Irizarry; his wife Patricia; his brothers, Daniel (Gudy), Dorian and Edwin; his siblings' children, Sylvia, Daniel and Alexander; his great-nieces, Elaine Christine and Sylvia Patricia; and his great-nephew Scott Louis.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Perry Funeral Home (118 Union Ave, Lynbrook, NY 11563). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 50 Ascan Ave, Forest Hills, NY 11375. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Charles Cemetery (1100 New Hwy suite 407 suite 407, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Alan's memory to The Fabulous Feline Inc., an organization he co-founded and was close to his heart.
