He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ethel Wandell; his children, George Bowman Bacon, Jr. and Karen Ann Bacon; his children-in-law, Judy Hyatt Bacon and Victor Pajonas, Sr.; his sister Barbara; his siblings-in-law, George Wandell and Ann; and his grandchildren, Robert, Katherine, Nicole, Cheryl, Sarah and Selina.
Marilyn and George returned to the church where they married, Holy Trinity in Valley Stream, and they remained active parishioners there until the pandemic in 2020.
