He is survived by: his wife AnneMarie Grace; his children, Karen Garofalo (Joseph), Kathleen Egan (Richard) and William Grace III (Doreen); his sister Maureen Grace of Bohemia, NY.; and his grandchildren, Kaitlin Garofalo, Joseph Garofalo, Joscelyn Egan, Kassidy Garofalo, Kalleigh Egan, Alexa Grace, Daragh Egan and Sydneigh Egan.

Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lieber Funeral Home (266 N Central Ave, Valley Stream, NY 11580). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Mary Church (55 E Jamaica Ave, Valley Stream, NY 11580).

“Sorry to hear about "Skippy". I lost contact many years ago when I moved upstate. We were boyhood friends for many years. Skip was the best man at my wedding in 1971. It is sad that his passing brought me back into contact. I know he will be missed by many after serving for so long as a volunteer fireman. Jim Brady”
