William D.R. Martin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William D. R. Martin of Verona Beach, New York, who passed away on October 19, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father D. Stanley Roberts. He is survived by: his mother Betty Ann Traut Holmes of Verona Beach; his wife Tekla Farrell; his daughters, Julie Danback (Mathew) of Jarrell and Kathleen McMahan (Nicholas) of Gaithersburg, Maryland; the mother of his children Diane Martin; his grandchildren, Kaia, Thatcher, Juneeper, Conor and Mac; and his siblings, Christine Peterson of Townshend, Cynthia Brown (Michael) of Baldwinsville, Donna Clark (George) of Morriston, Jackie Hodge (Bruce) of Old Forge, Robert M. Roberts (Mary Jane) of Oneida, Richard Brewer (Kathy) of Horseheads and Ed Holmes (Joann) of Verona Beach. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home (260 Main St, Oneida, NY 13421). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's of the Lake Church (6735 NY-13, Verona Beach, NY 13162).
