He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Deraway (Platt); his children, Dixie Deraway-Zalocha and Dustie McElhinney; his sons-in-law, Nathan McElhinney, Richard Deraway, Jr. (Cathy Sharp) and Carmen Miller (Connie Derawy); his grandchildren, Matthew, Stacie, Mikayla, Kelsea, Dalton, Samuel, Melanie-Mae, Jillian, Michael, Brenda, Bobby, Jessica, Maria, Nick and Elena; his great grandchildren, Harper, Madison, Kenyon and Tatum; and also Michael Zalocha. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
