He was predeceased by: his parents, Karlis Arens and Tatjana Arens. He is survived by: his wife Irisa Berzinskis; his children, Andris (Naomi) and Brigita Anderson (Robert); his grandchildren, Larisa Arens-Morgan (Bryce), Benjamin (Shannon) and Caleb; and his brother Erik (Marie).
