With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas John Rose Sr. of Vestal, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 20, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Cooper John Rose; and his parents, Richard Rose and Lois Rose. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Emily and Doug, Jr. (Tiffany); his sister Linda; his siblings-in-law, Tescha Borgstrom (Laurie) and Ted Borgstrom (Nancy); his niece Sarah; his nephew Sam; and his pet Max.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Vestal Fire Station 1, The Fred W. Singer Training Facility, the Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad, or the Humane Society.
