He was predeceased by: his wife Lovina "Dixie" Wagner; his parents, Josephine Wagner and Charles Wagner; and his siblings, Donald Wagner, Charles Wagner and Marion Hess.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Wagner; his grandchildren, Noah, Aiden, Jonah and Tela Valint; his nieces and nephews, James Wagner (Donna), Sharon Martin (Nova), David Hess (Bea) and Lori Reynolds; and his brother-in-law Terry Tozer (Mary Anne). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Calling hours will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed immediately by a Catholic Mass at 10:30 a.m. A luncheon for family and close friends will be held following the Mass. A life of service well-lived; may he hear the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."In lieu of flowers, donations in Gene's name can be made out to the Vestal Volunteer Fire Department.
