With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James A. Stone of Vestal, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter A. Stone and Jean Googe Stone; his son James A. Stone II; and his pets, Snowey, Midnight, Simba, Tramp and Madison (Anne Wager).

He is survived by : his family, Carrie A. Stone (Jeffery) and Christopher T. Stone (Sonya); his daughter Sarah Stone; his daughter-in-law Jennifer; his grandchildren, Rachel, Morgan, Cheyenne, Vincent and Jacob; his sister Cynthia Clover; his brother-in-law Richmond; his nephews, Colin, Kevin (Patti Gillett) and Tommy Testa; and also, Lois Rice, Susan Clark, William Schroeder, Mary Jo Weaver, Thomas Dooley, Daniel Dooley, Martin Dooley and Joseph Dooley.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (14 Pine St, Susquehanna, PA 18847).

Donations may be given to Memorial Park Baptist Church 1013 Front St. Vestal, NY 13850.
