James B. O'Hara Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James B. O'Hara of Vestal, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James B. O'Hara to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas O'Hara and Julia O'Hara; and his brothers, Robert, Gerald and Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann O'Hara; his daughters, Debbie Bomysoad, Julie (Michael Purdy) and Bridget (James Ligas); his siblings, Mary O'Hara, Julia (Timothy Murphy), Edward O'Hara and Joseph (Maureen O'Hara); his sisters-in-law, Rosanne and Peggy O'Hara; and his grandchildren, Kara, Conor Talbut, Kevin Bomysoad, George Stewart, Cameron, Emma, Evan Purdy, Jack and Sam Ligas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the J. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (141 Main St, Binghamton, NY 13905). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church (465 Clubhouse Rd, Vestal, NY 13850). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (501 Fairview St, Johnson City, NY 13790).
