He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel J. Dowling Sr. and Anna Regina Dowling (Pataky); and his brother Daniel J. Dowling Jr. The. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Dowling (Singer); his children, James F. Dowling Jr. (Jodi) and Kelly LaPicola (Bill); and his grandchildren, Nicholas LaPicola and Ally LaPicola.
