She is survived by: her husband Joseph F. Smyder, Sr.; her son Joseph F. Smyder, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Beth Smyder of Chesapeake, VA; her daughters, Valerie A. Smyder of Vestal, NY and Kathleen J. (Sean L. Powell); her granddaughters, Rebecca M., Rachel M. Smyder, Summer N., Madeleine C. and Sophia G. Powell; her great grandchildren, Kathleen and Liam Powell; and her siblings, Eddie (Glenna Berry), George (Mary Berry) and Thanna B. Landon.
