He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Julia; and his brothers, Robert and Gerald. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas and Michael; his grandchildren, Seamus, Caoilainn and Declan; his siblings, James (Mary Ann), Edward, Joseph (Maureen), Mary and Julia (Tim Murphy); and his sisters-in-law, Roseanne and Peggy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
