With sadness, we share the passing of Wayne C. Schneider of Vestal, New York. Wayne passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, A. G. Schneider and Mildred Schneider; his sister Bette; and his son Scott. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Stacy Rudock (Eric) and Susan Ruszkowski (Nick); his grandchildren, Joshua, Emily, Michael Rudock and Ember Ruszkowski; his mother-in-law Jeane Rafferty; his brother-in-law Kris Rafferty; his nephew Tony Rafferty (Leslie E. F. Smith); his great-niece Maci Rafferty; and his niece Kris Rafferty.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home (765 Main St, Vestal, NY 13850). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Scott C. Schneider Memorial Scholarship Fund at Broome Community College.
