She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter DeCann and Eleanor McNamara DeCann. She is survived by: her husband Carl Smith; her daughter Eve Lauricella (Brandon); and her siblings, Donald DeCann (Pauline) and Virginia Bodine (Robert).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paul L. Murphy & Son's Funeral Home (175 E Miller St, Newark, NY 14513). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lollypop Farm, Humaine Society of Greater Rochester, a cause that was close to Joyce's heart.
