He was predeceased by: his parents, Alpha G. Witt II and Geraldine B. Hurdle Witt; his siblings, Alpha Witt III (Carole Emilie Witt), Annabelle Linneman (Robert Linneman) and Ester Boronstein (Hyman); and his brother-in-law Gordon Janesky.
He is survived by: his children, Anna Pineda of Wallkill, NY and Howard Witt Jr. (Patricia) of Middletown; his grandchildren, Emily Diaz (Michael), Jarrett Pineda, Ashley Gioielli (Anthony) and David Witt; his great grandchildren, Benjamin Diaz and Nora Diaz; and his sister-in-law Maria Christina Janesky. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Millspaugh Funeral Directors (22 Bank St, Walden, NY 12586). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post Road, Walden, NY 12586.
