He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Winum and Florence Winum; and his son Dominic. He is survived by: his wife Jean Marie Winum; his children, Laura Christiantelli (Frank), Laurence (Ellen), Nathaniel (Karin), Monique Martindale (Zak), Kara Winum, Jarret, Karena, Karl (Betsy) and Brant (Heather); and his sisters, Helen Barr, Susan Rella (Joseph) and Alice Carver. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Millspaugh Funeral Directors (22 Bank St, Walden, NY 12586). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Most Precious Blood Church (42 Walnut St, Walden, NY 12586). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at the Wallkill Valley Cemetery.
