Loretta Cooper Obituary

We bid farewell to Loretta Cooper (Walden, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 10, 2025 at the age of 69. Loretta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Teed and Edith Teed. She is survived by: her husband James; her daughter Laurel Hicks (Sam); her daughter-in-law Kara Cooper; her grandchildren, Loretta Lynn Stanley (William), Sam Hicks (Macie), Asia Cooper (Ruthie Lynn), Austin Cooper (Donna Faye) and Lola Cooper (Elisha); her great grandchildren, Jim, Ace, Lottie and Jeanna Faye Cooper; her sister Linda Weller (Jeff); her son James Cooper Jr.; and her brother Arthur D. Teed Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Millspaugh Funeral Directors (22 Bank St, Walden, NY 12586). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at the Circleville Church Cemetery.
