He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Basel Sr. and Mildred Wagneaux Basel; his wife Deanna Hennig Basel; and his sister Deanna Basel Fowler (Fred). He is survived by: his children, Eric Basel of Surry, VA, Gretchen Basel Breland (Terry) of Gulfport, MS and Andrew Basel (Laura Stangel); his grandsons, Brandon Breland (Laura) of Colorado Springs, CO and Matthew Breland (Julianna) of Gulfport, MS; and his great grandchild Ila Mae Breland of Gulfport, MS.
