It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Charles Lander of Wallkill, New York, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph George Lander and Rosalind Lander (Sharetts); and his siblings, Ralph, Rosalind, Leila, Harriet, Jane and Alma Jean.

He is survived by : his wife Margaret Mary Lander (Miehls); his daughters, Carol Ann Venugopal (Venue Venugopal), Valerie Ann McCann (Peter McCann), Betty Ann Lander and Sue Ann Lander; his grandchildren, Diane (McCann), Walling (Michael), Robert McCann, Suresh Venugopal (Naomi), Anthony Rendell (Anne-Marie) and Prakash Venugopal (Ginger); his great grandchildren, Emily, Jacob, Jessica Walling, Wyntersilver Rendell, Keegan McCann, Valen and Aryan Venugopal; his nieces, Judy Bellman (Ryan), Susan McCann (Meyer) and Maryjane Young (Ryan); and his extended family, Cathy, Ray DelCotto, Kyle, Tabatha, Trevor, Christopher and Elizabeth.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to the New York State Veterans Home, 4207 NY-220 Oxford NY or the Humane Society of their choosing.
