He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schmitt and Pearl Schmitt. He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Brookman (Ed) of East Dover, VT and Kathy Nelson of Wethersfield, CT; his niece Hannah Lombardo (Zane) of Branford, CT; his nephews, Ethan, Jarrod Nelson of Wethersfield, CT and Aidan Nelson; his brother Allan Schmitt (Sharon); his nephew Benjamin of Fairfield, OH.; Kath, Joe, Elizabeth and Matt.
