He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his parents, Gerald Coughlin and Isobel Coughlin; his siblings, John Coughlin and Margaret Barberis; his brothers-in-law, Al Barberis and Hugh Terrill; and his cousin George Koch.
He is survived by: his son Drs; his grandchildren, Michael, Caitlin Freeman, Emmaline and Christopher Mingone; his siblings, Mary Terrill and Larry; and his sisters-in-law, Lee Sadler and Carol Coughlin.
