He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Barnes and Edith Barnes (Mills); his siblings, Donald Barnes (Sharon) and Patricia Caffery (Victor); and his brother-in-law Jack Fairchild.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Barnes; his daughter Emily; his son-in-law George Bailey; his grandson Brandon; and his siblings, Tom Barnes (Shirley), June Fairchild and Leola Bailey (Raymond). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
