With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Conklin of Walton, New York, who passed away on September 7, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Wood and Agnes Wood (Fitch); and her siblings, George, Merlyn, Alan, Stephen Wood and Sally.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Stone (Jay) of Cooperstown, Lisa Conklin of Walton and Mike Conklin (Marilyn) of Walton; her grandchildren, Rachel Stone, Jonathan Stone, Draven Ayala and Wyatt Whittaker; the father of her children George Conklin; her siblings, Carl Wood (Gail) of Indiana and Carol Wood Nichols of Walton; and her sisters-in-law, Audrey Wood of Downsville, Beverly Wood of Walton, Karen Hoyt of Bainbridge and Patty Wood of Walton.
