We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2025, at the age of 101, Kathryn J Turtora of Wantagh, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Kathryn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kathryn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Frances de Chantal RC Church (1309 Wantagh Ave, Wantagh, NY 11793). An entombment will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Ferncliff Cemetery (280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale, NY 10530).
