It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara M. Hamm (Wappingers Falls, New York), born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Straley and Veronica Fixer Straley; her husband William F. Hamm; her siblings, Richard Straley, Edward Straley and Audrey Piacente; and her siblings-in-law, Martha Duncan, George Duncan, William Duncan and Carmine Piacente.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Caprara (Mark) of Wappingers Falls and William J. Hamm (Darlene) of California; her brothers, Phillip Straley and Thomas Straley; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Straley, Nancy Duncan, Michele Straley and Sandy Straley; and her grandsons, Bryan Meiswinkel (Daisy) of Wappingers Falls, William E. Hamm and Jared Hamm of California. She is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Delehanty Funeral Home (64 E Main St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590). A prayer will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
