He was predeceased by: his mother Mary MacKay (Considine); his wife Rosemary MacKay (Boyle); and his sisters, Helen and Betty. He is survived by: his father Henry MacKay; his children, Charles MacKay, Kevin MacKay and Veronica Callaghan (Daniel); his grandchildren, Sean, Kevin (Hannah), Cathryn, Jack, Charlotte, Elizabeth and Alexandra; his great grandchild Louie; and his brother Harry MacKay.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (11 Clinton St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations be made in Charlie's memory to Little Sisters of the Poor, 2999 Schurz Avenue, Bronx, NY 10465.
