With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George J. Thorbjornsen (Wappingers Falls, New York), who passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Thorbjornsen and Helen Thorbjornsen; his great grandchild Jaxon; and his sister Eileen Parkin. He is survived by: his wife Frances A. Schmager; his children, Deborah Baccomo (Keith), Michael Thorbjornsen (Lisa), Anthony Thorbjornsen (Christine) and Kim Grieger (Kevin); his grandchildren, Dennis Baccomo (Kelly), Amy Baccomo (Michele), Jessica Schiavone (Ryan), Anthony Thorbjornsen (Mariah), Ryan Thorbjornsen, Jenna Thorbjornsen, Michael Thorbjornsen, Marisa Thorbjornsen, Samantha Marshall (Jesse), Sarah Messina (Ron Smith) and Kaylie Grieger; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Gwen, Natalie, Tyler, Isabella (Sal), Stevie, Olivia, Emme, Charleigh and Luca Dean.
