He is survived by: his daughters, PeggyAnn (Monte), Sheila (Kevin), Geraldine (Freddie), Mary (Eddie) and Karen; his grandchildren, Matthew Matusiak, Brenna, Annie Sherlock, Gerald, Olivia Hamilton, Thomas, Danny Walsh, Katie Mae and Jack Burke; his brother Gus Tierney of County Cavan; and his grandchildren, Mairead (Freddy), Kayla (Josh) and Gerry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
