He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Barnes and Agnes Keller Barnes; and his sister Shirley LaRue. He is survived by: his wife Joan of Wappingers Falls; his children, Bill Barnes (Corinne) of Holly Springs, NC, Susan Loring of Palm Bay, FL and Brian Barnes of Wappingers Falls; his granddaughter Alicia Chitanand (Jett); his great grandchildren, Myla and Natalie; his grandchildren, John Barnes (Jennifer) and Laura Fang (Philip); and his great grandchild Andrew.
