He is survived by: his wife Christine Ruta-Popow; his children, Matthew Popow and Sara Popow; his parents-in-law, Helen and Aldo Ruta; his sister Jan Cassidy; and his nieces and nephews, Richard John Keller, Jon Michael Popow, Ian Robinson, Alex Robinson, Ryanne Robinson, Susan Popow, Kim Popow Lazar and Jordan Keller.
