Ashburn Sr. of Wappingers Falls, New York, born in Beacon, New York, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Ashburn and Evelyn Ashburn (Kimble); and his siblings, William Ashburn, Nancy and Barbara.

He is survived by : his wife Cynthia Jane Peck; his sons, Mark J. Ashburn (Rebecca) of Las Vegas, NV and Dr. John Ashburn Jr. (Tara) of East Fishkill, NY; his grandchildren, Zachary Ashburn, Alexander Ashburn and Courtney Ashburn; and his sister-in-law Cherry Ashburn. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
