She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Kiel and Laverne Kiel; her siblings, Donald Kiel and Lorna Rybechek; and her son-in-law Nels Nelson.

She is survived by: her husband Clinton R. Oestrich; her children, Robert Oestrich (Ellen), Stephen Oestrich, Mark Oestrich (Sabrina) and Christine Nelson; her grandchildren, Kristi Palmer, Eric Oestrich, Michelle Oestrich, Kimberly Oestrich, David Nelson and Julia Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Palmer, Robbie Palmer and Ivan Oestrich.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church 2568 South Ave, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590..
