He is survived by: his children, James (Debra DeFelice), Thomas (Michelle DeFelice), Luanne (Francis X. Sheehan, Jr.), Lisa Letterii DeFelice (Michael Macklin) of New Paltz and Donald (Theresea DeFelice); his brother Constantini DeFelice (Marie); his sister-in-law Teresa "Vera" Gatins of Poughquag; his grandchildren, Robert, Vita DeFelice of Shelton, CT, Joseph DeFelice of Gaylord, MI, Matthew DeFelice of Sheboygan, WI, Frank, Nick Sheehan of Livingston, NJ, Domiana DeFelice Cotter, Joseph Cotter of Gardiner, Dante, Alyssa Mazzeo DeFelice of Highland, Dakota DeFelice (Jeremy Barbara) of Hoboken, NJ, Delyla DeFelice of Pleasant Valley, Brianna of Poughkeepsie, Marissa of Poughkeepsie, Anthony DeFelice of Poughkeepsie, Adam of Poughkeepsie and Mikayla Macklin of Poughkeepsie; and his great grandchildren, Antonino, Federico, Alessandra, Rose Elizabeth, Andrew Joseph, Ellis Lou and Robin Mae. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

After retirement, he devoted himself to charity and community pursuits.
