He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel A. Fernandez and Mabel Daniels; his wife Genevieve Rosco; his significant other Antionetta Ciancanelli (Anne); his sons, Michael and Manuel John Fernandez; his granddaughter Brenda Shaffer; and his siblings, Robert, Richard and Reverend Bernice West.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Sherman and Roberta Myers. He is also survived by two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
