It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. Fitzgerald Sr. of Wappingers Falls, New York, who passed away on May 30, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Beatrice Rose Freihofer. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, John Fitzgerald (Sheryl), Eileen Magnotta (Brian) and Richard Fitzgerald Jr. (Theresa); his siblings, David Fitzgerald (Terri), Patricia Kemmerer (Rony), Joanne Charles (Richard) and Maureen Nicholas (Dennis); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Gabrielle Picca, Megan, Alyssa, Katherine Fitzgerald and Carter Fitzgerald; his stepgrandchildren, Brandi Andreas, Alexa and Amanda Magnotta; and his stepgreat-grandson Logan George. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
