He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Moon and Helen Clark Moon; his wife Gloria P. Moon; and his sister Carol M. McCawley. He is survived by: his daughter Linda; his son-in-law Ron Orlando Jr. of Millerton, N. Y.; his son Robert T. Moon of Pawling, N. Y.; and his grandson Nathaniel X. Orlando. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
